highlight of the month:
Midcity x barrel proof takeover
We had so much to celebrate at this event, not just because it was our first takeover of the year, but our very first pop-up as an Atlanta branch, period! The temperature was cold (AF), but our community showed out with a packed house from start to finish, on top of celebrating MidCity co-founder, Jose Pereiro’s birthday.
Some event highlights:
Our friends at Heaven Hill sponsored a hefty spirits selection for our cocktail menu consisting of Vago El Manantial, Tequila Ocho, Bluecoat Gin, and Evan Williams bonded bourbon.
Our bar lead, Gabe created a white Negroni-highball situation, called “Blanc Provisions Co.” that was sold out before the night was halfway through. Lorenza’s “Night City” was the perfect comfort cocktail to go with our frosty, midtown backdrop, and Chef Josh cooked up a fresh, mediterranean-forward food menu consisting of: 3-bean salad served over a warm onion soubise, a classic NoLa muffuletta, and a zataar pita. Did we mention everything was made in-house? We’re talking everything from our syrups, to our sauces, to our bread, made entirely by our badass team. They say you can taste the difference when something is made with love, and if you tried anything on the menu, then you know we basically smothered you in it.
